 As you all know, Lessons Learned will be in stores in August. As of right now they have not chosen the first single because Monica and her team want to make sure it's the absolute best choice for that time of the year. We should have a single no later than July. Monica is really happy about her work with B. Cox because he is allowing her to "sing from the bottom of her heart". She's real excited about her meeting with Babyface and hopes to get some of that "Waiting To Exhale" type material like Mary J. Blige’s "Not Gon Cry". As we told you before she is still waiting to hook up with R. Kelly and Ne-Yo. Their schedules are demanding so it hasn't happened yet.
As far as the tracklisting, the plan is to have at least 12 tracks (14 at the most) and she is really looking forward to touring. Lil Rock is 2.5 years old now and Romello is 3 months old.
Also remember that Regions Of Rock – her boys clothing line - is coming soon. The target age range will be up to like age 11 for boys. She will have some exclusive things on her myspace in the coming weeks, so be on the lookout for that. Keep it locked to MAO and MonicaSoul.com as well.
She will be hosting Ryan Cameron's show today on V-103 in Atlanta and some special guests will be calling in and she will also be looking forward to hearing from us. So stream her online at V-103.com from 2-6pm Eastern Time!

Monica has shared new pictures with Sandra Rose and her fans of her sons Lil Rock and Romelo Montez Hill. Romelo is only 8 weeks and Lil Rock is 2˝ years old. Lil’ Rocko will celebrate his 3rd birthday at Disney World in May with his parents, Romelo and his older brother Ramone Malik, 12.
Not only is Monica is still working on her new album slated to drop this summer, but Sandra revealed that Monica is also working on her new all boys clothing line that Romelo and Lil’ Rock are the models for called Regions Rock. Monica’s new album is tentatively titled Lessons Learned.

| Monica Gives Birth To Second Son |
 Congratulations to Monica!!! She gave birth to her second son, Romelo Montez Hill on Tuesday afternoon (Jan. 8th) Romelo Montez Hill came into the world at 2:15 p.m., weighing 5 lbs., 6 oz. and was 19˝ inches long, according to an email from Monica.
”We are all doing very well and truly thank God for our new addition” Monica wrote. The new baby is Monica's second child with new artist Rocko Da Don. Rodney Ramone is two years old.
”Lil Rock and Romelo mean the world to me, and so do those that support us,” she said. ”Again, thank you and look for my new album Summer '08. God bless you!!” |

Ozone Mag: You've been linked to Monica and a few other female celebrity females. Are there any other celebrity relationships you'd care to speak on or any celebrity women you've got your eye on?
Young Buck: Monica was the only [celebrity] relationship I enjoyed. Anything else you heard about, it really wasn't about nothing. Probably just something that happened or it was good for the time being for whomever it may have been with. But, at the end of the day, Monica was the only relationship I enjoyed. It was something that was real. Even today, we ain't really have no reason not to fuck with each other.As far as anybody I'm lookin out for, I ain't looking for love. I'm kinda married to the money at this point. I've got so many different things going on business wise. I have my own label, my own clothing deal, my own watch and shit like that. I'm really focused on tryin' to get it.
